Welcome to the Framework for Expenditure Decision Making

In 2014, UKWIR completed a project to develop a new Framework for Expenditure Decision Making which goes beyond the original Common Framework for Capital Maintenance Planning that was published in 2002. This new Framework encompasses all investment planning with emphasis on a total expenditure (totex) approach, and brings together all relevant research to produce a compendium of asset management knowledge.
