Donna Rawlinson

Programme Lead, BQ11: Circular Economy

Dr Donna Rawlinson has held a variety of positions within Northumbrian Water Limited (NWL) over the past 20 years, currently serving as Capital Principal Project Manager and Major Projects Programme Manager. Her expertise and interest has predominantly been in the field of bioresources, resource recovery, waste minimisation, carbon and circular economy. NWL is leading in bioresources, operating two large advanced anaerobic digestion plants, and is industry recognised as the most efficient in terms of operational performance.

Donna is also programme lead on the UK Water Industries Research (UKWIR) Big Question focussed on waste and resource recovery. UKWIR, working in partnership with others, has taken a lead in the development of the water research agenda in the UK and Ireland by defining a strategic research programme to address the key challenges facing the industry, now and in the future.
